GENERAL INFORMATION

Please note:  During the turnover period between the PTTA and the Peters Township Tennis Center, (approximately  April 21st until May 2nd) the clay courts are subject to limited availability.  The courts require rejuvenation with Har-Tru material and the time frame for this process is weather dependent.  Please expect weather related delays.

The Peters Township Tennis Center offers professional instruction, clinic, leagues, and tournaments, daily from 8:00 AM- 10 PM. The Tennis Center consists of 4 lighted Har-Tru tennis courts, 5 new  hard courts (unlit), and a Pro Shop, all located in the Peters Township Municipal Complex.  You may call us anytime to reserve a court or to sign up for one or our many excellent programs.

RESERVATIONS:  724-941-1330.  Reservations may be made one day in advance, beginning at 8:00 AM each day.  Reservations may be made for either court surface.  The same fees apply to both surfaces.  April to May, and again beginning in mid-August the hard courts will be unavailable to the general public during High School training sessions. 

PARKING:  Players are asked to park cars on the lower (library) lot, the upper lot is reserved for school district employees.  Parking restrictions will be enforced seven days a week.

$30 per day.  See Paul or Bill for a four week prepaid special rate.

Beginners Mondays   6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Intermediate/Advanced    Wednesdays  6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

 

Jerry's Drill Court: Tuesdays  6:30 - 8:00 PM;  $7 per half hour.

Drills specifically for shot work and foot work.  As this clinic is specific to shot making and footwork, it is open to all skill levels.  You will not hit shots to an opponent.  Please call the tennis center weekly to reserve a spot.

 

SPECIAL EVENTS

 

Tennis Fun Day:  June 21, 2008.   9:00 AM - 12:00 PM  The Township, High School Tennis teams and the Tennis Association invite everyone to a free day of  round Robin Play, contests and other activities. 

        Door prizes, free food & refreshments, entertainment and more.  Come check it out!!  Sign up for Round Robin by June 19th in the Pro Shop.

Junior (DR) USTA Tournament:  June 27- June 30th, 2008

SEASON PASS-  Allows unlimited use of all courts.

HOURLY RENTAL- $14 per hour/per court.  Each non-resident pays an additional $6 fee.  PT Student resident $7.00 per hour.
